Life Nugget #13: “We can KNOW…”
We can know God! Therefore, we can KNOW! We were created with the ability to consider and retain for the purpose of relationship and growth!
Just that phrase makes me personally pause and consider the ramifications of that TRUTH.
We CAN know GOD Himself, because HE has made Himself known to us. He enables us to know Him as the One Who is selflessly loving toward those He created. HE chose to become one of us (as Jesus The Messiah), yet without compromise of His Divinity; fully human in perfection and fully Divine, without lacking. The big phrase for this phenomenal miracle is the “hypostatic union”; being both and in complete fullness without lack of either.
This is just one of the countless amazing truths of who Yeshua Hamashiach is; and because He is we have all that we need for life and godliness in Him. (2 Peter 1:3)
The author of Hebrews tells us clearly that Jesus is the EXACT image of God the Father and this pleased Father GOD - Abba Yah. (Hebrews 1:3) So when we look at Him (Jesus) we really are seeing Abba Yah as He is too… Wow! Yahweh (God) did this because He loves us so very much and wants us to be in a relationship with Him that is fully transparent. It was His pleasure to have Him (Jesus) be this to us. It also is God’s pleasure to have us know Him and seek Him and find out more and more of Who He is. ( 1 Chronicles 16:10-11)…Just ask!! His Word gives us an open autobiography, as it were; and searching Him in it through the leading and teaching of Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) will enable our eyes to be opened even wider to His nature and character… revealing the manifold greatness of knowing Yahweh (God).
Yeshua Ben Yah (Jesus God the Son) has made Him (the Father God) uniquely known to us in coming to us this way and fulfilling every prophecy of the promised Messiah (2 Corinthians 1:20). He is The Word and as the only begotten Son of God, the fulfillment of The Word.
Be assured, as you seek Him, He will be found by you and He will draw you even closer to Himself (James 4:8) so that you may know Him as He is. One day our physical eyes will be truly opened to see Him as He is “Truth and Love in endless glory! “(1 John 3:2-17). Oh, what a gift of unspeakable joy that we can see Him with the eyes of our soul today as we peer into these truths and that we can know Him now… Wow!
